    How ParadoXX became ParadoXX

This is a story about a boy and a girl, that met up for a cup of coffee. They didn’t know each other, they didn’t need to. They put all of their witchcraft and nonsense together, add some wine too, and then they had a four piece-band called “Kuvösbarn”(Children of the Incubator). They played, and how they played. At first it sounded terrible. But after a while their first song “Letter in the Morgue” saw the light of day. Then the second, then the third, and so on and so on…

Two of their songs were recorded as a single at Midas Studios, Vaasa in May 2006. They also put in a music video on the single. The single became some kind of an underground hit-single in Vaasa, and “Kuvösbarn” got some underground-fame. That’s always good, right..? Then the line-up changed. And it changed again and again. But after some heavy line-up changes everybody seemed satisfied. Actually, everybody seemed so satisfied and relaxed that the entire band name had to go through a change. After some heavy drinking, the bandname was set to be ParadoXX.

ParadoXX was now a five piece-band, and it had never worked as good as now. The bandmembers got along, and the song writing seemed to fit like a glove. The first album of ParadoXX is out now, under the name "A date with the Crow".

    To be continued…
